Are you crossing the U.S. border?
As of June 1, 2009, all Canadian and American citizens must show a valid passport for entering the U.S. by air, or Passport Card when crossing the border by land.

What do I need to travel into Mexico?
You need a valid Passport and get a visitor visa at the port of entry.

What do minors need to travel into Mexico?
Minors traveling into Mexico need to show a notarized Parent's Consent to Travel, signed by both parents along with a valid Passport or Passport Card.

What do I need to do in order to bring my car into Mexico?
Your car title in your name, photocopies of title, driver's licence, credit card for a deposit.
The same requirements apply for a trailer. If for any reason you are not granted a car permit, your car won't be allowed to enter into the country. A car sticker will be given to you after you get a Mexican visa and all car ownership documents are checked in at the port of entry.

What do I need to adopt a child from Mexico?
Please refer to the "Links" page and click on the adoption agencies links.

What religious denomination do you work with?
We work with any denomination whose aim is to spread the Good News according to the biblical principles described in our "What We Believe" page.

Do you have a U.S. address?
Yes, our U.S. mailing address is Spear Missions, P.O. Box 3909, Anthony, NM 88021-3909

Where are you located?
We are located 230 miles south from El Paso, TX, and 130 miles west from the Presidio Texas border in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Do you do missions anywhere else?
We also set up mission trips in other parts of the country. If your team is interested, or may need to set up a mission trip in any region in particular, you may request more info on our "Contact Us" page.

How do we get there?
Some teams choose to drive down to where we are located, or the group may choose to fly either to El Paso, TX or Chihuahua international airport, especially if they are not familiar with traveling into Chihuahua by land.

What do you provide to teams?
We provide two meals a day, housing, and transportation when needed. Our fees are the most competitive in the region.
For more details go to the "Contact Us" page.

What kind of people do you accept in your mission trips?
We welcome good Christian people that are committed to missions, and have a burden for ministry, eager to learn, be stretched out, servants, abide by our guidelines, and have a positive attitude towards mission trips. We also welcome skilled and non skilled people who might be useful for construction projects and children's ministry. We welcome all ages. We suggest that your church may provide missions training for people getting involved in a mission trip. For some hints, refer to "links" or ask us through our "contact us" page for some ideas.

Is there any availability for somebody to come and help for long-term as a volunteer in one of the local ministries?
We suggest that you come with a short-term mission team first so you get familiar with the area and the ministries we partner with. Then you can inquire about helping as a volunteer later on.
