Missions are a very special sense that stirs
every soul willing to serve in the Kingdom of Heaven.
The assurance God gives should be a real source
in order for one to follow the
call.

THE
PLAN
Along with spreading
the good news, our aim is not only bringing
teams into a new culture, but getting them to have a
unique experience as they interact with tribal
communities, teams become impacted and represent great
blessings for those they outreach with at the time. Some
future missionaries feel a confirmation to their call by
taking short-term mission trips or a longer
term mission experience living with
missionary families or staying at shelters
or mission homes (Inquire for long term program if
interested.)
From
dawn to sunset, the Majestic Chihuahua Sierra Madre
rises with the "sound of silence", a unique breeze that
cherishes the forest releasing a relaxing pine
fragance that delights any living being around. And all
around, scattered, isolated, the Indian log homes settle
in a lost world.
The
Raramuri tribe is a very
sensitive community located in the Southwest mountains
of Chihuahua; their spread villages show up in isolated
valleys, canyons, and hills. The majestic Copper Canyon
hides wonders of rock formations, rivers, and water
falls.
RUSTIC
WAY OF LIFE
If you ever decide to get out of routine
and breathe a different atmosphere, here you will
experience cooking on a firewood stove that will work as
a heater also. Sleep in a log cabin, eat handmade
tortillas, you will probably see the process start from
grinding of the corn by hand.

MINISTRY
IN THE MOUNTAINS, DARE WHAT OTHERS
DREAM!
Some of
what God has showed us about the ministry in the
mountains, with the Tarahumaras.
Not only
preaching, but also being a friend, showing the love of
Christ by making tortillas, eating with them, building
homes and churches, singing, playing, praying, bringing
a word of hope, is what outreach with the native
Mexicans is all about. They need to see their need for
salvation goes beyond all culture and language
barriers.
Kids ministry

Work projects
Ministry sites entail church, kids
shelters, dorms, and mission bases construction, work
projects, and sharing the Gospel with Indian kids and
adults. Besides outreach among the people,
we strive for finding support for the
ministries in the area, financial support can be tax
deductible in the U.S. as there are pastors,
missionaries, physicians, and their families living out
of whatever we can bring to them, having to trust
completely in the Lord’s provision.
There are ministries
that house and feed Indian children that come down
walking through the hills for hours to have school for
five days a week, (see Tarahumara Mission page) this is
a great opportunity for them to receive the message of
hope. Medical projects are being developed in the
mountains, in order to
provide medical assistance in key locations
where the locals need to have all kinds
of consultations and medication but due to the rugged
terrain, it is impossible for them to come to the
nearest hospital. Some people are not able to come for
assistance, therefore, the missionary has to approach
them defying all odds from climate, terrain, and
hostility from other locals.
The Lord is working out his purpose
on this land whatever we might have to go
through, for we know he is a sovereign God and
he is in control of everything.
Yes, if you want to come up to the
mountains, you will have to have this attitude, looking
ahead, getting back up if you ever fall, doing the long
walk through the hills, hugging Indian kids, being a
friend to people with completely different customs,
showing the love of Christ, that kind of love that would
bring you even to carry your own cross.
Do you really want to follow Christ?
Are you sure you are not joking about
missions?
Are you ready to deny your own way of
life?
Are you ready to be stretched here?
Are you willing to love indeed by giving
out your time, money, and comfort for others?
Just like Jesus did, going against the
flow enough to die for all of us.
Moses would come up to the mount to talk
with God, and his face would shine the Glory of the
Almighty bringing revelation to his people. Your face
can shine also, after you experience what the Lord wants
to show you in the mountains. Dare to experience a whole
new world!
Set up your tent on a land that claims for
a word of salvation!
